Mrs. Claus Created All Those Christmas Cards

plus created all those Christmas treats recipes.
Let us imagine for a moment that there is more to Mrs. Claus than what we have heard over the many years. Sit in a comfortable chair, relax, close your eyes and breath deeply. Now, count backwards from 25 -- this will take you back, back into your childhood and the days of your greatest Christmas memories.
When you reach the number one, there your are, on December 1 of the year when you still believed in all those wonderful joys of childhood dreams and visions of sugar plums. That was the year when you became old enough to run to the mail box by yourself. You reached up, opened the little door, stuck your hand in the box and pulled out a handful of Christmas cards. Then you ran back to the house, gave the cards to your mother and ran to the kitchen to see what smelled so good. The aroma of cookies drifting from the oven was almost too much to bear.
How do you think all those delectable cookie and candy recipes came to be -- how do you think all those cards were created -- hmmmm? Do you think Mrs. Claus made all those Christmas cards plus created all Christmas treats recipes? Yes, my friend, there is a Mrs. Claus and she did create those cards and recipes. Believe she did -- as sure as Santa and the reindeer can fly, Mrs. Claus does more than sit by the fire knitting up there in the bitter cold of the North Pole. No way does she just rock and knit -- this is one smart lady we have here.
Let us further imagine that if one woman lived with a magical man who knew everyone in the world and whether they were good or bad and worked hard all year long to supervise all those hundreds of elves then took off on the most magical time of the year and left you alone in a big house for who knows how long that maybe, just maybe, that woman would not sit around and wait with a melancholy look on her face. Not our Mrs. Claus.
Our Mrs. Claus is a writer and poet -- the kind of writer one would find on HubPages. A writer with a creativity that knows no end and no limits. Our Mrs. Claus has her own office and library -- with thousands of books for reference and state of the art computers, printers, fax machines, phones, everything she needs to get her job done. She is also an artist and designer. Her studio above the office, which overlooks the village, is full of paintings from years gone by -- images that appear on Christmas cards of every kind.
She also has a crafts room full of fabrics organized by color, sewing machines that are the envy of every woman who ever sewed. Boredom is not a thing Mrs. Claus allows in her life. Nor does she know restlessness. Our Mrs. Claus is a woman of substance and intelligence. She has so much wisdom and creativity that all scientists, inventors, artists, mathematicians, authors, anyone with a degree of any kind, pale beside her when attributes are handed out.
Mrs. Claus has a lot of time to study, learn, and create. All those family Christmas cards, business Christmas cards, teacher Christmas cards, friends Christmas cards, funny Christmas cards, religious Christmas cards, have been created by our Mrs. Claus on her computers then sent to every store and business in the world in time to be purchased, signed, and mailed out for the holiday season.
Then we have all those wonderful recipes. Christmas cookie and candy recipes that have been handed down for generations were created by our Mrs. Claus. Mothers and grandmothers the world over will tell you that if it were not for Mrs. Claus, there would be no special treats for the Christmas season.
It is Mrs. Claus who designs all those beautiful dolls, toys, stuffed animals, caps and other winter outfits that the elves make.
And there is more, lots more -- who do think creates and sews all those suits for Santa and the elves? And who do you think makes all those fluffy, soft quilts for everyone at the North Pole to keep them warm at night? And who do you think does all the cooking of wonderful meals for all those men running around that village at the North Pole? You got it! Mrs. Claus does all that, too, plus hundreds of other things.
There is a rumour that it is she who is the keeper of the "naughty and nice journal". So believe there is a Mrs. Claus. I repeat, my friend, as long as you believe, as sure as there are Christmas cards and Christmas treats and sugar plums, there is a Mrs. Claus. When Santa and the elves are weary and worn out and feeling a little down in the dumps, Mrs. Claus is there to keep the spirit of Christmas alive and cheer them up with hot cocoa, cookies, and a joyful smile.
No wonder St. Nick is a right jolly old elf!
